Communal is on the hunt for a dynamic, go-getting project manager to thoughtfully guide the internal and external operations of our growing business. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, intuitive, and able to balance their left-brain organization with our right-brain creativity.

Communal is a full-service creative agency bringing startup brands to life with beautiful design, smart copy, and compelling visuals. We are a team of creators, working collaboratively with one other and our clients to build brands that disrupt industries and delight consumers. Each member of our team plays an integral role in both brand development and the client relationship.

The Communal project manager is comfortable working across the business and must have experience managing creative teams. We’re looking for someone who can make our internal process tighter and more effective by identifying roadblocks and implementing solutions. You’re obsessed with to-do lists and task management, you follow up on follow ups, and you recognize what needs doing before it needs doing and get it done. You keep everyone on the same page, while recognizing the fluidity of the creative process, and you can balance the day-to-day needs of the business with a large-scale operational expansion—from tactical problem-solving and communication to business growth and strategy.

You’ll be excited by keeping track of all the things. You’ll be managing (and keeping us within!) scope, timeline, and budget for each project and communicating clearly and effectively with clients. You will also play a key role in creative production, by supporting the execution of print and packaging, digital products, and content creation. This role reports to our founder & creative director, and you’ll be working directly with our dedicated team of designers, copywriters, and brand managers, as well as directly with our clients to ensure communications are flowing, deadlines are outlined, and we’re creating space for exceptional thinking and successful doing.
